Burn Restrictions in Place for LaMoure County

LaMoure County Commissioners still have delcared a Fire Emergency and Burn Restrictions in place.  

Open burning will be prohibited when the LaMoure County Fire Danger Rating is High, Very High, or Extreme and/or a Red Flag Warning has been Issued. A link to the Fire Danger Rating is on thImage titlee LaMoure County website - and is updated daily.

The LaMoure County Fire Restriction does not specifically include fireworks.  However, campfires and garbage burning is prohibited when the Fire Danger Rating is High, Very High, Extreme and/or a Red Flag Warning is issued.

All open burning needs to be attended and supervised at all times. Review the North Dakota Century Code 33-15-04-02 for more conditions regarding open burning. Additional information regarding open burning can be found on the LaMoure County website.
