-Regular Full-Time Motor Grader Operator Job Openings
The LaMoure County Highway Department currently has two job openings for full-time motor grader operators. Jobs would involve maintaining county roads, township roads and snow removal. Jobs would also involve operating other types of equipment and labor when needed throughout the county. Will be responsible for maintenance and service on all equipment operated. Must be able to accurately document service work, repairs of equipment and time worked.
Job Locations (indicate on application which location is preferred):
Kulm Shop – 308 3rd ST NW Kulm, ND or
Benson Corner Shop – 6404 County Road 60 Litchville, ND
Minimum Qualifications (required): Lift a minimum of 70 pounds
Preferred Qualifications (not required): Highschool Diploma or GED, Motor Grader Experience, Experience with the basic functionality of Microsoft Excel, Part 107 Drone License, and Experience with GPS survey equipment and AutoCAD drafting software
The Highway Department works 50-hour work weeks from June to September depending on weather and workload. Overtime paid after 40 hrs. Potential for reduced hours (less than 40 hour weeks) over the winter months depending on work load.

-Regular Full-Time/Seasonal Equipment Operator Job Opening
The LaMoure County Highway Department currently has a job opening for a full-time equipment operator. Job would involve operating all county owned equipment such as loaders, excavator, graders, dozers, skid steers, tractors, rollers, crushing equipment, dump trucks, plow trucks, belly dump and side dump. Job also includes general labor such as (but not limited to) shoveling, pot hole patching, crack sealing, mowing, signing, equipment repairs, equipment service, oil changes, greasing and fueling equipment. Must be able to accurately document service work, repairs of equipment and time worked.
Minimum Qualifications (required): Lift a minimum of 70 pounds; Class A CDL License or ability to obtain one within 6 months
Preferred Qualifications (not required): Highschool Diploma or GED, Experience with the basic functionality of Microsoft Excel, Part 107 Drone License, Experience with GPS survey equipment and AutoCAD drafting software
Job will be based out of the LaMoure Shop – 505 4th Ave SE LaMoure, ND 58458.
