Community Nursing Services

Services include nursing care provided at the facility in LaMoure with suggested fees below. There are also home visits from a nurse available to all residents of LaMoure County. These visits can be as frequent as one time per week with the goal to provide services that will assist individuals in remaining safely in their own home for as long as possible.

Home Visits

Home visits are scheduled by appointment by calling the nurse. Home visits have a suggested fee of $16.00 for 15 minutes of RN services. Each client's situation is unique. All ages are eligible for home visitations, newborn to elderly.

Clients may receive home visitations by an RN for the following services:

  • Blood Pressure, Pulse, Respiration Monitoring
  • Blood Sugar Testing
  • Medication Set Up and Monitoring
  • Foot Care
  • Weight Monitoring
  • Other Nursing Services by Doctor Orders

Referrals Can Be Made By

  • Clients themselves or family members
  • Physicians, nurses, or other health care providers
  • Schools, social workers, other agencies, or concerned citizens

County Nursing Health Maintenance Sites

Health maintenance clinics are conducted by nurses at community locations across LaMoure County. Call (701) 883-5356 for community clinic schedule information.

  • Foot and Nail Care

Special Programs

Newborn Follow-Up

Offers by phone and/or home visitation health information and counseling to mothers regarding normal and/or abnormal happenings postpartum and for the newborn.

Injury Prevention Programs

LCPHD promotes bicycle safety and a child passenger safety program. Car seats are available for qualified families.
