Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Are Needed!

Did you know that the Fire and Emergency Medical Services of LaMoure County are made up of all VOLUNTEERS?  The County is very fortunate to have basic life support ambulance services with 24-7 coverage based in Kulm, Edgeley and LaMoure.  The community of Jud also has an ambulance which is a substation Edgeley.  However, these services depend on volunteers to be drivers and emergency medical techicians.  Training is offered for free! 

The Fire Departments in LaMoure County are in Jud, Marion, Edgeley, Kulm, LaMoure and Verona.  Edgeley, LaMoure and Kulm also have extrication certification.  The Fire Departments also offer training to individuals that want to learn!

If you are interested in helping one of these communities and becoming a first responder with the ambulance and/or fire department, please contact the Emergency Manager at 883-6096 for an application or contact the service directly.
